Important Notes:

  • Notify us about your intention to return the product within 2 days of delivery. The product must reach our warehouse within 10 days (to be couriered by the customer, with the shipping cost reimbursed for valid cases). This policy does not apply to items under ‘’Food” category but only to items under the “Handicrafts & Clothing” category.
  • If you receive a damaged product, initiate a return request. We will share our warehouse address for returning the product.
  • Ensure the product is returned in its original condition, without any damage or tampering.
  • Pack the product securely to prevent damage during transit. Clearly mention The Bihar Store’s return address on the package.

Upon receiving the returned product, we will inspect it and offer either a replacement or a reimbursement. (Note: The delivery cost for replacements will be fully covered by us.)

Returns Will Not Be Accepted If:

  • The product has been tampered with in any way.
  • The product has been used, spoiled, washed, or altered.
  • There are slight variations in design, colour, or pattern work, which are natural in handcrafted items.
  • The return is based on personal preferences like taste or colour, as long as the product meets standard quality.

Order Cancellation

To cancel an order:

  • Email us at support@thebiharstore.com.
  • Cancellation is only possible if the order has not been shipped.
  • For prepaid orders (via credit card or net banking), a full refund will be processed if the order has not been shipped.
  • Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled, and will instead fall under the return policy.

These differences arise due to factors like lighting, digital photography, display settings, and the inherent nature of handcrafted products.

In cases of damage, manufacturing defects, or errors on our part, please email us at support@thebiharstore.com. Upon verification, we will provide a full refund for the affected product.
